California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) spent all day on social media Saturday, defending his incendiary claim that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller is a “fascist.”

Newsom decided to call Miller a “fascist” just days after the same accusation was carved into the bullet casings apparently used in the assassination Charlie Kirk. He had also called Miller, who is Jewish, “SS” — a reference to the Nazis who led the Holocaust.

As Breitbart News reported, several prominent commentators called on Newsom to stop the hateful rhetoric, including Andrew Kolvet, who co-hosted Kirk’s radio show and was close to the late conservative leader.

But Newsom persisted, and spent the entire day on Saturday defending and doubling down on “fascist.”"

I'm sorry you didn't experience it. Fathers are important, as well as mothers, they each have a distinct role in a child's upbringing.

I was blessed and when I married it was important to me that my husband held those same values I was taught

True. But so far every person I've asked to back up those accusations with a verifiable action or a quote in context has not come up with anything.

Now Stephen Miller is a good guy who is a bit over the top in delivery of his comments but I've never been able to fault the comments themselves. In the days before his 2nd inaugural address President Trump texted all the Patriots and asked if they had any advice. My only advice was not to let Stephen Miller write it this time. He wrote the first one and I hated it. It sounded like Stephen Miller and not at all like Trump.
