New York Times: FEMA Let Texans Drown While Calls Went Unanswered

FEMA doesn't show until after disaster hits.

They can't stop a flood, you do comprehend that, don't you?
You just repeated this strawman. Nobody said they were supposed to stop the flood.
You won’t disappear the fact that they didn’t help people affected by the food.
If you repeat it again, I will repeat that you’re just repeating this strawman

I’m curious how many calls were answered and how many went “unanswered”
I’m also curious how many is the norm after a disaster to go unanswered due to sheer volume of calls. Be a stupid sheep and act like this will help you tards in the midterms but any normal person would know this is not out of the norm for a disaster you retarded scumbag
The answer is right at the beginning of the article. But someone was too lazy to read:

“Two days after catastrophic floods roared through Central Texas, the Federal Emergency Management Agency did not answer nearly two-thirds of calls to its disaster assistance line, according to documents reviewed by The New York Times.”

And I’m curious why you didn’t ask yourself the question of how many answered calls were the norm before DOGE vs. how many calls were expected to be answered after staff cuts.

I did ask how many unanswered calls were the norm you commie fucktard

You still think you get to demand answers? lol you're a sub-human piece of shit; nobody cares what you think are ' choices', gimp.

They're facts, not put downs, maggot.

That really hurts.....if Trump told you to go suck dog dicks in a freak show, you would. No questions asked.

Mentally ill MAGA circus freak.

Don't project your fetishes on others, dork. The last time you went near a circus they called the police and had you arrested for molesting the donkeys.

So go ahead, Trump supporters—feel free to keep parroting “big government bad.” Just remember: when your money’s on the line, you love federal aid. When the chips are down, you beg and beg—and then mock anyone who dares ask why your “drain the swamp” hero let FEMA drown on his watch.

You don't know what the f**k you are talking about. Specific government good. Big government is pretty bad and sucks up 25% of GDP (I know....what's that?).

When the chips are down, I go to work and I help my family.

Let FEMA drown? Are you drinking?

No...Texans didn't vote for a flood to kill children.

They did vote for little to no regulations and for a completely f'd up response by FEMA. You reap what you sow.

Thoughts and prayers.

You would think it would be a landslide in favor of floods killing children. I mean who wouldn't vote for that?
Of course the state legislature voted in favour. True Texans.

Yes, the flooding and death to children was wildly popular with Texas lawmakers.
That's why they voted for it.

They considered the taxpayer when they did so.

That's good, isn't it?
