New York State again tries its continuing attack on gun makers and responsible gun owners trying to disarm people by putting the gun makers out of business. The legal theory? Gun manufacturers should be responsible for any and every mishap involving guns from marketing and sales to what the consumer does with it years after he has purchased it.

And of course, the New York Federal Appeals Court went right along with it, throwing out the case made by a slew of gun manufacturers, despite the action, started by Cuomo in 2021, directly violates another law enacted in 2005 blocking such legal actions being taken. The obvious intent here is to badger makers, dealers and everyone else with litigation and lawsuits making it harder for them to stay in business, ultimately taking guns not out of the hands of criminals but responsible people.

Once again, the law is merely an obstacle instead of something to follow and the test is to see if and how far the law violations can be pushed, so it looks like this might be going to the Supreme Court.

This is akin to your driving drunk off the road and crashing then suing the car manufacturer saying it is their fault. The obvious intent here is to simply bankrupt gun makers until they are driven out of business--- hardly what the Founders had intended.

Further proof that Democrats will do anything and everything they can to make it as hard as possible for the law abiding to exercise their right to keep and bear arms.

No one wonders why.
