New York Prosecutes Couple For Fraud For Listing Their House For $499,000 When It Ultimately Sold For $485,000

Commentary:
It appears that A.G. James can now go after any resident of New York that believes their property is worth their asking price.
If they did this to Trump they can do it to anyone...

That had the Bee written all over it.... :)

Imagine living in a shithole like that and having to look over your shoulder for a large-assed ape descending from the trees and coming after you with fake charges.

From a safe distance, it's almost comical. :laughing0301:

I think they made up for the years and years of fraud Trump got away with.

Besides, it wasn't just A mistake. He did it for years as the article I posted noted.
Begs the question as to why they let him get away with this "fraud" for more than decade (FYI, it would take a lender 1/2 an hour looking at public docs to find this error). Yes, the error was carried over for several years.

Yeah.....they can't actually do that...
He shouldn't have done it either but...
They can't pull this sudden about face singularly....it's gonna explode

He didn't get away with anything.... It is common practice in New York state. Banks are aware of it and they don't loan more than they think they can get back.

Nice try

Now try it with a house you took a loan out for $3 million when it was worth $300,000
Can't happen dumbfuck. The banking institutions have their own internal expert appraisers. They are literally in the business of appraising assets. Have somebody explain that to you.... it may take a few days so take an extra diaper.

That's why DB said, under oath, "it is always a pleasure doing business with Mr. Trump".

This is not over. Not by a long shot. You can hide.....

Banks are as corrupt as Trump. When they screw up they know the government will get the taxpayers to clean up the mess and make them whole again.

If the bank and the appraisal has that ($3million) opinion of value, no problem. The borrower's opinion of value is meaningless to any lending institution.

Oh bullshit. A bank would not be in business for long lending more money on a property than it is worth on the Market.
