Correct me if I'm wrong but I recall when Bill Clinton decided that all Soldiers should look like Green Berets and he bought the Black berets from China in violation of an act called the "Berry Amendment" (1941) that bans the DOD from buying uniforms from foreign governments.

I gotta hand it to democrat congressman Mike Thompson (Ca) for introducing an amendment to the "Omnibus appropriation bill" that requires all US Flags purchased by the Defense Dept to be manufactured in the US. It was signed into law by the president. Why did it take so long?

Better late than never.
And about time.

Pity other 'Christian' Western nations wouldn't follow suit.
