I thought under the citizens united ruling that corporations making political statements was protected speech and the government couldn't go after them with authoritarian actions.

The right wing would come down hard on a democrat that would do this authoritarian stuff. But since it's a republican doing it they got turn their heads and pretend not to see it.
Pretty general statement there. Disney is doing way more than pushing a stance on social issues, they are forcing it down the throats of anyone who deals with them and we have no choice....other than to ignore Disney altogether.

It's Reuters/Ipsos....You know damn well they phrased the questions to get the result they wanted for the "news" story.

Social responsibilities are a dead issue in America and always have been. The American way was created for the very purpose of leaning toward fascist control of government that is in the hands of the very wealthy.

To americans, socially responsible liberal government can't be understood as being something different from communism.

We get the message at least a dozen times a day on this board. Prolific posters like Politicalchic post volumes on the misconception nearly every day. In fact, just lumping communism and the fascist principles of America's hard right, into one convenient basket.

Desantis and it looks like 43% of republicans and 38% of democrats think it's hunky dory to attack businesses that exercise their first amendment rights.

That is scary folks.

Attacking the poll just because you don't like the outcome.

It's like screaming fake news just because you don't like what is being said. Kinda weak.

The source is shit and has been for a long time...That is a fact.

You don't want a shit reputation, quit generating biased push polls that you can then publish as "news".....Reuters is garbage.

Polls are polls....as I said the question is phrased to get the outcome they want and it worked.
