I never stated that I wanted Bush Jr. to fail.

I did state repeatedly that Bush Jr. and Cheney were incompetent, as they invaded the wrong country for the wrong reasons. I actually WANTED the war to be over with quickly. Remember back in 2004 (towards the end) when RumsFAILED stated that the war would last 6 months to a year, and the savings in oil revenue that we would make would pay for the war? I wanted that to be true!

Which is why I was so pissed when I saw the "Mission Accomplished" banner on that carrier, as the mission wasn't even halfway through at that time, as we were in the wrong country.

I didn't want Bush Jr. to fail. Matter of fact, in 2000, I voted for his sorry ass. In 2004? I wanted to see that ****** gone because he had failed America.

I'm not a liberal. I'm an Independent. I decided that in 2004 when I didn't want to vote for Bush Jr. again.

Even though I thought his policies were fucked, I still wanted him to make the right decision, turn it from a long drawn out process into success. He continually made the wrong choices, which is why I thought HE was fucked.

As far as not being AD anymore? Might wanna check into how the military works. For the first 10 years of retirement, I'm in the bunch that can be called back, after the reservists get activated. I've only been retired for 7 years, so I've got 3 to go yet. Oh yeah....since I've retired, I haven't volunteered for any grass roots thing, or done anything to work against the policies.
