Trump was able to exploit the structural advantage more moderate Republicans have in the primaries, being a Northeastern social moderate. I don't about the vote being rigged. There seems to be more establishment Dems than New Blood Dems who could vote. So maybe the selection process for the voters didn't reflect the DNC membership?
