It is interesting in a way that 100% of the people tested for this Omicron thing were all vaccinated, but that does NOT mean the virus is totally unaffected by the vaccine or that it is drawn TO vaccinated people. It's an artifact of the testing situation: they were all (three countries but only around ten people initially who were positive for Omicron) travellers who had to be fully vaccinated to fly ANDANDAND tested right before the flight.

Huh, they don't seem to be real confident in their vaccines, if they are re-testing fully vaccinated people, do they? And rightly so, because, you know, a dread mutant with 11 to 50 mutations depending on who you read (??) was slipping right through, though I guess those people who tested positive suddenly found their travel plans radically changed. The everybody-who-is-vaccinated-catches-it-anyway thing MAY change, but I for one don't trust much that I read now: it's not looking good for the vaccine protecting us against Omicron and if people start saying, well, if you're vaccinated you won't get sick or very sick, they don't know that: so that's all propaganda. And propagandizing for no public health reason, if the vaccine doesn't work on Omicron.
