What? How do you deal with extreme cold? I'm a southern guy. When that cold, I am wearing UnderArmor top and bottoms, North Face Fleece top and bottom, my North Face Tri-Climate upper and matching water proof insulated waterproof pants, and ski gloves,, insulated high top boots and a balaclava. Hell, I was wearing that, this morning in 11 degrees, just for blowing off the back deck, front porch and a path down the driveway, the snow to driver's side of the SUV. Except I did not bother with the balaclava, as the door to the house was within 30 feet. I was warm as toast. Army paid me to be miserable at times and temps like these and to project freezing my ass off, totally did not affect me. That does not mean I am going to abuse myself for free. It's only 15.4 degrees outside my house, right now. If one is going to be out for long periods of time a balaclava is a wise move. Look at that picture. I'm fking pink. Those temps will windburn blister the hell out of me, over a week of hours out in it. Where are you from, that you know a better way to stay warm, comfy and well preserved?
