NEW: Bush Administration Ignored Urgent Warnings From CIA Months Before 9/11

Yes, but how many Ambassadors were killed on 9/11? Huh? Huh? Huh?

Yeah, the NaziCons are already trying to blame President Clinton.

Q: Did Bill Clinton pass up a chance to kill Osama bin Laden?

A: Probably not, and it would not have mattered anyway as there was no evidence at the time that bin Laden had committed any crimes against American citizens.

DETAILS: Clinton Passed on Killing bin Laden?

at least two different countries offered to extradict Bin Laden to the US government and Clinton told them to back off.He is as much involved in 9/11 as his buddy Bush is.
again you post a funny because you are ignorant of the facts.

Janet Reno gave Bubba the Legal go ahead but he dawdled around long enough for him to get away. Too scared to make a decision.

Twice.

So he knew exactly what was going to happen? He knew that they were going to use passenger air planes as missiles? What planes they were going to use and when? You forget part of the shock was how they did it. We never thought people could be that evil. Now on the other hand, Obama knew it was coming, when and how. Even let it go on four hours, not trying to rescue them. Then went to sleep, got up the next day lied about it. Then went to Vegas to fundraise and play golf. Bush brought everyone together after 911, God I miss having a leader as president.

Don't you NaziCons ever get tired of the Benghazi bullshit?

How many ambassadors were murdered? Did Bush lie about it to save his ass in the election? Did bush lie to their families about it? Obama did.

How many ambassadors were murdered?

Awesome.

See post #3.

Two months before 9/11, the Bush administration was told “the attacks will be spectacular”

In sum, domestic agencies never mobilized in response to the threat. They did not have direction, and did not have a plant institute. The borders were not hardened. Transportation systems were not fortified. Electronic surveillance was not targeted against a domestic threat. State and local law enforcement were not marshaled to augment the FBI’s efforts. The public was not warned.

To put this in perspective, when conservatives argue that Hillary Clinton was negligent ahead of the Benghazi attacks, they argue she should have known about the multiple warnings that US diplomats in Libya passed along to the diplomatic security staff in the State Department, though none were passed directly to her.

Compared to the multiple warnings received by President George W. Bush ahead of the 9/11 attacks, its easy to see a double-standard.

DOUBLE STANDARD INDEED!

Like Hillary said, at this point in time, what difference does it make? Come with the rest of us into November 2015. Hell, Pearl Harbor could have been prevented. So what?

How many ambassadors were killed under Bush? Hell how many were even americans that were killed?

Apparently its time to deflect from the current miserable state of foreign affairs and relive the past based on revisionist history based on speculative interpretation. FYI the paper trail concerning Benghazi was current and does exist.

That's not the answer to my question. That's right he was gay, you think Obama let him die cause they were ex lovers?

‘The Attacks Will Be Spectacular’

An exclusive look at how the Bush administration ignored this warning from the CIA months before 9/11, along with others that were far more detailed than previously revealed.

Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” The CIA’s famous Presidential Daily Brief, presented to George W. Bush on August 6, 2001, has always been Exhibit A in the case that his administration shrugged off warnings of an Al Qaeda attack. But months earlier, starting in the spring of 2001, the CIA repeatedly and urgently began to warn the White House that an attack was coming.

By May of 2001, says Cofer Black, then chief of the CIA’s counterterrorism center, “it was very evident that we were going to be struck, we were gonna be struck hard and lots of Americans were going to die.” “There were real plots being manifested,” Cofer’s former boss, George Tenet, told me in his first interview in eight years. “The world felt like it was on the edge of eruption. In this time period of June and July, the threat continues to rise. Terrorists were disappearing [as if in hiding, in preparation for an attack]. Camps were closing. Threat reportings on the rise.” The crisis came to a head on July 10. The critical meeting that took place that day was first reported by Bob Woodward in 2006. Tenet also wrote about it in general terms in his 2007 memoir At the Center of the Storm.

But neither he nor Black has spoken about it publicly in such detail until now—or been so emphatic about how specific and pressing their warnings really were. Over the past eight months, in more than a hundred hours of interviews, my partners Jules and Gedeon Naudet and I talked with Tenet and the 11 other living former CIA directors for The Spymasters, a documentary set to air this month on Showtime.

The drama of failed warnings began when Tenet and Black pitched a plan, in the spring of 2001, called “the Blue Sky paper” to Bush’s new national security team. It called for a covert CIA and military campaign to end the Al Qaeda threat—“getting into the Afghan sanctuary, launching a paramilitary operation, creating a bridge with Uzbekistan.” “And the word back,” says Tenet, “‘was ‘we’re not quite ready to consider this. We don’t want the clock to start ticking.’” (Translation: they did not want a paper trail to show that they’d been warned.) Black, a charismatic ex-operative who had helped the French arrest the terrorist known as Carlos the Jackal, says the Bush team just didn’t get the new threat: “I think they were mentally stuck back eight years [before]. They were used to terrorists being Euro-lefties—they drink champagne by night, blow things up during the day, how bad can this be? And it was a very difficult sell to communicate the urgency to this.”

Well, this certainly won't help Jeb Bush.

I see the regressivecrat paid posters have received their deflection marching orders on this one. Two threads in less than an hour, tell us fake squaw who gets the check?

Homeland security was created because of it.... Yes or No?

Hillary could have and should have done better for our people there....

Anytime the shit hits the fan the left runs to blame Bush....

President Clinton warned Bush. The CIA warned Bush. Richard Clarke warned Condi Rice. This is serious!

Right, they told him something might happen within the next few months. It's like me telling you that there is going to be a murder in Chicago in the next few months and hold you responsible for not stopping it. Generalized intel is not actionable, they raised threat levels at likely targets, no one had any idea about hijacked planes. This is just a pathetic attempt to put smoke where there is not fire.

If you are still saying that Benghazi was the fault of Secty Clinton, we now know it was the Repubs who cut security and refused requests for more security. Its also known now that Secty Clinton had no control over security.

We also know that the bin Laden's are long time family friends of the Bush dynasty and the source for most of their money.

AND, if you are comparing Benghazi with previous embassy attacks under other presidents, there is NO comparison.

If you are saying that Benghazi was as bad as Bush's Iraq and/or Bush's 9/11 - that's just idiotic. Because of the Bushes, hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people have died and more continue to die.

Its way past time for you RWNJ traitors to stop living in LaLaLand.
