You think Americans are the only broke ones?

We are struggling here. Police don't have the time and taxpayers don't have the money to chase down gas theft anymore. It is open season on gas stations.

WOODSTOCK, N.B. - Police officers across New Brunswick are no longer investigating thefts of fuel from service stations unless there is a threat to public safety.

Why do they let them fuel up before paying?

We are slow learners I suppose. There may be fraud involved in some cases too, I don't know. We are a cash society though.
