He is an anglican so this seems to be a backward step for the church. I went to a wedding over 20 years ago and the ceremony was conducted by a woman. She was fine.

I would hope that he is turfed out before long as he is a cancerous presence

Is this still an issue in the US or is it a british issue ?

Now, if Catholics and Protestants really understood the Priesthood and what it is and where it came from, they would not continue down this woke liberal road of theirs.

How so? Have you not read the Bible? Only those with authority can give the gift of the Holy Ghost which is required for revelation. He's right that it takes a Church founded upon Apostles and Prophets to pass down the authority to righteous men to be conferred to the Priesthood of God. See, it's Mankind that has decided that we only need the Bible and that this alone constrains God from revealing Himself and restoring that which is lost like Apostles, Prophets and the Priesthood. That's taliban.
