Nah Graham just realized that Trump was right all along finally (no sell out), but him and Trump's relationship was strained due to the 2016 campaign fight. Graham finally came around afterwards, but has struggled with Trump's early on stomp of his character as a congressman when running for President.

On July 20, 2015, Graham called Donald Trump a "jackass" during an interview on CNN because he was offended that Trump had criticized John McCain.

Graham was McCain's boy, and it took some time for him to get over that.
