Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but what exactly has to occur in order for a hockey game to be cancelled? I've never been to a game before, but I am well aware of what can happen during one and in my opinion, if there really were three severe enough confrontations at the beginning of the game, the game should've been called off right then and there especially if the referees are not going to act fast enough. To me, the ones that are shown during the clip are 100% percent worthless because all that they did at first was let the players pound on each other!

The guy who sang the anthem did a wonderful job.

Fighting is fully legal in the sport of hockey. The refs generally wont step in to stop a fight until one person falls to the ice.

This news was acknowledged on the FOX network earlier today and it was said that the game was in Montreal, which is what leads me to this question, since the game was not even in the states, why was the anthem even done at all? Was the Canada song done since the game was in Canada instead of the states?

That anthem is a tribute to everyone who brought us the freedom to even be able to play these games. If you boo our anthem, you deserve to die for it, as far as im concerned. I wish a terrorist strapped with explosives was in that shitty crowd last night.
