There is a reason that Israel is going through what she is going through right now. And there is a day that this shall come to an end and the LORD shall destroy her enemies within and drive out the rest that are at this writing surrounding her. That day will come - we know it shall come because the Prophets in the Torah / Old Testament have told us that day shall come!
But in the meantime! Just a reminder!
This is what the LORD told the Israelis! Let us examine the Word of the LORD concerning Israel's present situation and why it has come to this...
It is written:
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;
Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.
- But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
- Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
Numbers 33:50-56
What did G-d of Israel tell the Jews to do? Drive out the inhabitants of the land, possess the land, tear down their high places, their altars to Baal - in this case Baal Allah - destroy all their molten images, all their pictures, all their high places! Tear it all down!
What happened after the 6 day war? Didn't the enemy flee and leave the land after the 6 day war? Yes. They did. Wasn't the Temple Mount taken by the Israelis with not a single Arab Muslim in sight of the place? Yes. It was. What did your Rabbi tell the head of the IDF Military after that tremendous victory that G-d had given you and your people? What did he say?
Not exact words but here was the sum of his words -
Now is the time. Tear down the high places, drive out the strangers of the land and do not let them return. Let us obey the LORD and tear down the high places and idolatry and dedicate this nation unto the LORD.
The head of the IDF said to the Rabbi - if you do not be quiet I will have you arrested. That very day - those in power in Israel decided upon a secular government that would remain "politically correct" and not drive out the strangers from the Land. They decided to ignore the Word of the LORD as given to the Jews in Numbers 33:50-56 and do it "their way" without God. The Rabbi left quietly and today? We see that the IDF General made a huge mistake in not heeding the words of that Rabbi.
THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED.
THEN look at what happened! The Word of the Lord was fulfilled!
It is written:

Numbers 33:55,56
Because of your IDF General who rejected the Word of the LORD spoken by the Rabbi? Because he didn't drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you and permitted them to remain? Even giving the Arabs BACK CONTROL of the Temple Mount? Because of this! These Arab Muslims have been pricks in your eyes! Thorns in your sides! And they have vexed you in the land in which you dwell!
And moreover God has done unto you what he had thought to do unto them!
What is the answer to this? Repent of it - call upon the LORD and thou shalt be saved. Ask the LORD to cleanse the land and to begin with your heart. Each one must turn to the LORD because this isn't over yet. 2 parts (two thirds) of Israel shall perish according to the Hebrew prophets in the coming invasion. But the third part the LORD shall save! You need to make sure that you are marked as His to be a part of that third part.
Remember the story in Ezekiel Chapter Nine, of the man clothed in Linen with the writer's ink horn by his side? Who marked the foreheads of all who sighed over the sins of Jerusalem? They were spared. It is time to sigh, to weep over the sins of Jerusalem - the sins of Israel and seek the LORD while He may be found.
It is time to call upon the LORD because when he drives out the inhabitants from among you (which should have been driven out in the first place) he will sweep away (destroy) all that are wicked with them. There will be none left of the house of Israel but those who believe on the LORD and obey Him - seeking Him with all their hearts. It is time to seek the LORD, Israel!
