We also saw the video of a very long line in Alberta as they voted to support having a referendum on separation.

Police States always collapse. The more abusive and dishonest they are, the faster and harder they collapse.

Your agencies were naive to support a bunch of dishonest teen future cops and their diddler handlers. Stop supporting the criminals here who are pretending to be the "good guys". They arent, this is why Ontario is collapsing.

Trumps team knows this so he will just walk away from USMCA and our economy will lose 25% value within months. Save some of us please, we are worth it.

Homelessness is getting worse across Ontario with an estimated 85,000 people who were without a home in 2025 and nearly 2,000 encampments across the province, a new report from Ontario’s municipalities shows.

More than half of those people are experiencing prolonged periods of homelessness of six months or longer, the report by the Association of Municipalities of Ontario, the Ontario Municipal Social Services Association and the Northern Ontario Service Deliverers Association found.

About 20,000 children and youth are homeless in the province. The data shows northern and rural regions are driving the growth in homelessness.

“Something’s clearly broken,” said Lindsay Jones, executive director of AMO.

“I think we’re seeing, again, the impact of pretty significant underinvestments over years in the social systems that provide support, like income security, like mental health and addictions and affordable housing.”

Homelessness will continue to get worse under steady economic conditions until 2035, when 177,000 people are projected to be without a home, the report said.

Where's the video of that long line?

What's the cause of the homelessness OP?

Far too many issues to outline. Start with a massive home and rent inflation record over decades due to lazy money "investing" in homes which priced citizens out, a corrupt system which has burned billions of dollars for crooks, an increase in immigration but little new home development (intentional to keep supply low), an unaccountable covert police state which uses nepotism to reward family while the most talented Canadians leave for America, China, Japan et al and help them grow and succeed.

This homeless number may double within 3-4 years once USMCA is ripped up. China is going to exploit us and America will poach our best talent.

It was so bad that Ontario was trying to pass a law to not allow a university graduate to leave Ontario until at least x number of years. Think about that. Its East Germany ffs while the Stasi across Canada sink the nation.

Let's start w/the most glaring issue to me, who's purchasing all those homes for "investment?"

Do you have that information?

Corporate funds for sure. I used to own an REIT many years ago and it outperformed the market at times with little risk. The fund purchases buildings and rentals and dispersed the revenue across the fund.

There is also a large contingency of Chinese purchasers. Often times purchasing homes and not even living in them. Its a mean to launder cash, criminal or otherwise.

So you guys have a capitalism problem too huh?

Interesting.

I think that should be the first issue address, not allowing foreign investors and corporations to buy up all the available property.

It'll make a big dent in the problem.

There is alot to consider, it isnt capitalism per se. If it were, the supply would be 5x what it is. They are making seniors homeless since they cant afford for live, all to pad their bottom line.

It was on twitter, posted by someone claiming to be from Alberta

Wish I could see it to see if it's bullshit. They wouldn't be lining up for that because it's going nowhere for now because of these people and these by-elections show how much support they have

This by-election on June 23rd, 2025. The got 17.66% of the vote.

This by-election. They got 3.42%

This by-election. They got 0.67%

26 recall petitions.

Police state??

So the US incarcerates more of its population per capita and you believe Canada is a police state 🤔

This is the beauty of a true police state. Actions are conducted covertly for just that reason. It was conducted in E Germany and citizens had no idea the extent of it until after the wall collapsed and the files were accessed.

Family, friends, co-workers. Mothers, fathers, children, ratting on the others to the state for self benefit. The Stasi reaching out to people to help them compile a dossier, accurate or not. Maybe people (especially the Stasi themselves) would just make up stories to destroy someone they didnt like.

All of this is prevalent in Canada. So much so that Canada knows what Ive shared with Americans, Japanese and international agencies and they dare not deny it.

Wouldnt an innocent government deny it? They cant because these criminals SOBs held me held at the U.S border, a major mistake as it allowed a paper trail to occur. The criminal RCMP and their local surrogates messed up and the Americans KNOW that these criminals are lying,

Think about that...they KNOW that they are lying and manufacturing something that doesnt exist, similar to the Stasi.

Therefore, I just speak the truth and expose their motives.

I told you. You dont understand what is going on here, there are 10s of thousands persecuted as I have been, this is the caste system in action and citizens are angry as they see their civil liberties.disappearing. Some want out it seems. Ontario will stick it out until it becomes insolvent...All thanks to the Police State here:

Homes are not being purchased for "investment in Canada". This is a uniquely American problem.

The largest part of the problem has been the pandemic, which saw all construction stop for nearly two years. We were barely keeping up with demand before the pandemic, and fell behind when it happened.

In Ontario, we've had rent controls for the past 50 years, and there is little to no new rental units being built as a result. Companies found it more profitable to build condos than rental housing. When the Conservatives were elected in 2018, they changed the rent control laws so that landlords could charge market value rents when a tenant moves out. Landlords now had a vested interest in getting rid of long term tenants especially as rents rose.

Post pandemic, Trudeau tripled immigration to 1.5 million per year to deal with labour shortages. At the time when increases in immigration were announced, my first comment was "Where are we going to put them?".

I rented an apartment in 2016 for $600 a month - rent controlled. By 2020, similar apartments were renting for $1200+. That's when my landlord started trying to get rid of me. By the time the landlord managed to force me out, 2 bedroom apartments were going for a minimum of $1800 a month, if you could find one. A nice 2 bedroom is well over $2000 a month, and that's in a small town.

Mark Carney's new budget addressed the housing shortage, but millions of houses don't magically appear overnight. Development and construction take time and planning. Immigration has ground to a halt, until this housing crisis is solved, but Canada needs skilled workers to grow out economy and our birth rate is low. Immigration is our only solution, but we need housing to grow.

Did you even read the article you linked to. They're not lining up to sign a petition. They're lining up for a town hall meeting. As many as 1 in 5 people in Alberta would vote to leave Confederation. That means that 80% of people in Alberta have no desire or intention of leaving Confederation - ever.

So you live in India. That's the only nation on earth with a "caste system". You mentioned you had an REIT. Given your poverty, persecution, being forced from your job, and losing your home, how could you afford to invest in REIT stocks?

Ontario is hardly "insolvent" and Canada isn't collapsing, but your litany of lies is collapsing. That's the thing when you're lying about everything. Eventually people catch on to the bullshit.

See how easy it is to prove you're lying????

Oh how little you know.

The damage done may be irreparable. Great work.
