NBA...How Much Can a Single (regular season) Game Matter?

There is literally NO PRECEDENT for this individual performance. Not Wilt, not Michael, not LeB, not nobody...has ever had a game like that. 60-21-10! Not only that, but the shot that tied the game in regulation was near-miraculous...on a par with the Immaculate Reception.

One could mention Wilt's 100-point game from 1962 that is still talked about, but other than that, has there ever been a regular season, nearly-meaningless game, that featured such an extraordinary performance by an individual player?

Any sport?
