With Biden's disapproval numbers so high for two years now and for those same two years the huge majority of the country saying the country is going in the wrong direction, there have to be a number of things which have gone bad in the US under Biden. Meadows received more messages from contacts in his home state urging Trump to intervene.

He just drew down the troops - abandoning billions of dollars worth of military equipment, and leaving the remaining force in dire danger of being overwhelmed and destroyed. Biden pulled off a fucking miracle getting 150,000 Americans and Afghan contractors safely out of the country, with minimal loss of America lives. Yes, mistakes were made, and the Brits had good reason to be pissed, at the way it went down, but no one expected the Afghan military to just disappear into the night, the moment the Americans were gone.

That is ENTIRELY on Trump's head because he cut the Afghan government out of his negotiations with the Taliban, leaving them feeling abandoned. Republicans then blamed everything that happened on Biden.
