They are steadily catching up on turning against your newly adopted brethren, but right now most of them are playing "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" game. The reality is Israel needs to grab the Jews and put them front and centre in front of it to deflect criticism of Israel, while putting their lives at risk from those who believe Israel's line.

The US will always do what's best in their national interest. The US wanted Iran before there was an Israel and Israel was only a consideration after losing the Shah's regime in Iran.

Now that the US has both Israel and Iran in their grasp, and they do. Even if the Iranians think they have acted recalcitrant bride to the hungry American groom, the fix is in. Capitalism rocks.

I have no doubt that a decent portion of the artificial intelligence that will further the US's drive to Mars will come from an Israel that is recreated and strong.
