Meh, as long as snakes stay in their lane I'm fine. In fact I like having a blacksnake or two around the homestead.....Helps keep the vermin down.

My granddad would catch and put them in the barn and corn crib.

I don't like them either. I don't mind yard snakes. But I don't like the other ones.

Really, they aren't nothing more than a spaghetti noodle with a head. I can't fucking stand these nature shows that are out there trying to antagonize the snake to strike, so they can be like "look at that instinct, bro!". Snakes aren't like that. They're often more scared of you than you are of them.


The snakes I deal with have rarely struck at me, the one time it happened was when I squeezed a wild rat snake too hard and it thought I was trying to kill it.



I love snakes, those goofy, derpy little things that just like to explore their terrariums, and sun themselves on a rock. I'm looking to get a Ball Python soon, one that will watch TV with me.
