My thoughts on Elon Musk

If he didn't understand the damage he was doing to working people, he shouldn't be in the position to harm them.
So, get rid of the entire US Federal government then?

Obamacare is one of the issue here as it was set up to exponentially increased the costs of Medicaid. So, to balance a budget this needs to be stopped. But Trump is terrified of the prospect as being painted the villain for doing it so he has forbidden it to be touched.

This is just one example of why the deficit will expand exponentially along with their predetermined spending mandates from years past. Of course, Kamala wanted to crush us with taxes, which is the next step in the democratic plan to take all wealth from the average citizen. Then with inflation and taxation and crushing debt, the American dream will be gone forever. But at some point, it will all come crashing down with the dollar worth nothing. Then nobody will get anything free from the government ever again.

Elon Musk is thought of both as an elitest, out of touch rich boy, who bought his way into American politics and slashed many essential programs for the working class and the poor, as well as a really smart, decisive guy who understands the reality of balancing a budget involves making hard choices that are not always popular.

As an Independent, I think the truth lies somewhere between these two views.

Despite being born into a wealthy family, Elon Musk was famous for working very long hours for months on end, overcoming the many barriers to developing a truly unique vehicle that was both affordable, supercharging, and easily updatable.

I don't think Elon truly understood what it was like to be a working class American, so his thoughts on what were essential programs, and which needed to be slashed were far from perfect, but I do believe what he proposed as cuts were done with the sincere intention of making the American Government a better one, so I'm not inclined to judge him too harshly. In addition, I agree with Elon Musk when he said recently: "I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing," Musk said in a May 27 interview on CBS Sunday Morning.
I’m not clear whats in the spending bill that everyone is opposed to

How about an example ?

Why does "really smart guy" feel the need to self-deal, spread blatant lies and conspiracy theories?

When you pay your way to a position in government and use it for your personal interests (like firing gov employees that dared to regulate your companies) then that's not a misunderstanding. Thats called corruption.

I'd have a lot more respect for him if he wasn't doing that even if I didn't agree with him on something.

Wrong.
The budget deficit went from Biden's $1.7T to the House version at only $380b annually.
The senate version may even get to a surplus.
Yeah, I keep on hearing the BBB will add close to 4 trillion dollars onto the national debt over 10 years, which is 400 billion dollars per year when we had been running yearly debts of 1.5 -2 trillion dollars, which actually adds up to far, far more than 400 billion dollars per year. It's actually a huge savings compared to what it has been.

Musk's job was to eliminate "waste, fraud, and theft", not to pamper the government workers.

The DOGE team are expert at running modern companies, they know who needs to be cut, and how to modernize it.
No they don't. They fired necessary workers and then had to hire them back. No competent business man would do that. Firing someone just because they are new on the job is stupid. What of the exceptional worker who just received a promotion because of their hard work? Musk fired them because they were new to that particular job. .

Obamacare has been great for the country. Ask the great orangeness when he will finally show his beautiful healthcare plan that will be better and cheaper. He promised that long ago.

This was a huge wasted opportunity. Getting things done isn't just about WANTING to get things done, it's also about HOW you go about DOING it. And you don't do something this important and complicated like the way it was done. This was/is a goddamn circus. Par for the course for this administration.

Musk's ego, impatience and hubris didn't help. The American government is not a goddamn startup.

Stuff it loon. He saved free speech buying Twatter $40 Billion. He tore thru GOVT helping find $500B in absurd or stolen money. Helped to setup DOGE on good foundation to carry on.

"Leon" is due the medal of freedom and you are due another session at your Utah shrink you sick POS.

He pointed out $500B that he didn't like. There has yet to be any proof that any of that was stolen. Perhaps you have proof that I am unaware of. If so, please post it.

We all know the lies which is you can keep your own doctor and your previous health care plan and it will be cheaper.

If any CEO had made such claims and not delivered, he would be incarcerated for such lies, but in politics you just smile and lie some more saying that you really did provide those things as anyone who refutes you is fake news.

No the Government is not a start up it's a goddamn bloated bureaucracy that has gone way beyond it's Constitutional mandate.

$160 billion - that is DOGE's own claim on how much money it save. Thats not a claim of something stolen and there is much contention on how true even that 160 billion claim is.

So what ass did you pull $500 billion from?

Idiot, why doesn't DOGE know about "$500 billion found"?

Think maybe you can send that link to Musk, if not actually produce it here as basic support for your claims?
