If I remember my short stay at DU correctly, I was banned for not calling President Bush Shrub.

I guess its my fault. I live in a world where you should respect the office even if you dont like who is sitting in it.

I dunno, about July 2000, I would say. I started listening to the 92KQRS morning show here (i got sick of the teeny bopper crap on KDWB, because they started playing hiphop and rap), and the main host Tom Barnard is slightly right of middle, but the stuff he talked like he was more than just right of middle, but not to the extreme. The show itself if hilarious, and I started realizing I actually did agree with the ideals and beliefs of the Right all along, that what I did believe and feel was not Liberal at all, it was conservative.

I was just always taught (by you know who) to think Republicans are racist, selfish, money-stealing white guys. I was taught to virtually put minorities up on a pedestal, because somehow I was at fault for their mistakes and choices. And all that crap that goes along with being a liberal.

It makes me sad, the number of Liberals AKA SUCKERS, there are still yet. Though they are dwindling in numbers due to people finally seeing their self-destruction as it unfolds by their relentless attempts to discredit any conservative, on any issue, just to get their way, instead of compromise and actually listening to the other person.

Well the fact is the conservatice movement is the real liberal movement. Let me explain. Because our Founders created a free government the conservative tradition has been trying to preserve freedom. In that way according to the real definition of liberal, conservatives are liberals.

The people we call liberals today in reality are just neo-communist/socialist activists who prefer their own power to actual freedom. Hence they dont trust the people to make up their own minds. If the people vote against them its because the people are stupid. Hence why the judiciary is such an important branch of government. its the branch they intend to institutionalize their radical agenda and make it untouchable by the people. Hence we see decisions such as Roe v Wade or Griswold v Connecticut where justices over rule the law of the people arguing that those laws violate the collective conscience of the people.

Cant say any more its class time.

i know. I have heard this in/on other places, and it makes total sense. but of course, anything that makes sense or is a teeny bit logical, is a lie, according to liberals. The party names/labels should truly be switched, but since both parties believe just the other's name/labels to be tainted, for lack of a better term, i doubt that's gonna happen. Not that its a big deal because "that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."
