Whether you respect the person residing in the Office of the President of the United States or not, you still need to respect the office itself, and the person who is currently YOUR PRESIDENT . If you don't, you might as well leave America.

They aren't going anywhere so get out and vote.
Of all the reasons to hold the "democratic socialists" in utter contempt, this has to be the weakest I've seen.
Which does not diminish the fact that Democrat Socialists are utterly contempible.

Yes, and we can all look to the respect given to Trump's predecessor as a fine model.

The wings: Peas in a pod.
You seem to think that everyone who doesn't agree with your "enlightened" POV held Obama in contempt. How very binary of you.

"Seem to think"

So you just make it up (lie) and run with it. That's okay. I'm used to that here.

Who isn't respecting the office? This is one irony laden post that could easily have been written by a progressive during the Obama administration. It still wouldn't make sense, but the OP's lack of self-awareness is mind boggling!

That didn't apply to the last president, did it?

As a staunch Trump supporter, I must acknowledge that, stylistically, the President often deserves the aggressive criticism that he receives. His mocking of political adversaries is sophomoric and certainly not what one would expect of a United States President.

On the other hand, the Leftist tendency to describe their political opponents as stupid or Evil (or some variation thereof, to wit, "racist," "bigot," "xenophobe," etc.) is inflammatory in the extreme.

And the claim that Trump "has divided the country" is preposterous, coming from a political posse that has done NOTHING but antagonize him from the moment he declared for the Presidency.

A lot of things done behind the scene and in front to destabilize our nation. A Progs work is never done.

Trump is an unqualified idiot, and you seem to think it is unfair to say he is an unqualified idot.

Interesting. So you concede that it's possible to not respect the person who's elected as president but at the same time demand that people should respect that same person simply because he was elected?

May I ask how you believe that change in jobs warrants a totally different opinion about respectability. Let's just say someone who's running says he grabs a woman by the pussy, Attacks the parents of a fallen soldier because they criticized him. Calls Mexicans who come over rapists. Makes fun of the disabled. And suggest that "second amendment people should do something" against his opponent. All of sudden is respectable just because people choose to elect him? Not for nothing, respect is earned by who you are not by the job you hold.

You're welcome to point it out.

You guys never seem to be able to do that.

Anyone who supported that sham of an impeachment "process" that resulted in a fierce charge of "Trump is a mean poopy-head" has no respect for the office of the POTUS … "period."

Wanna know why so many self-important people (and therefore the lemmings) hate Trump? He made raging FOOLS out of 'em:

I'd be happy to explain the hypocrisy that should be obvious even to one such as you, Mac, but first you must explain what was the lie you claimed I made up and ran with. :D
