Nobody is perfect BUT:Only a true bigot sees that meme as anything other than malicious hate propaganda.
I wish we could give you somebody perfect, who has nothing bad in his/her past, never does anything wrong, is exemplary in every way. But God already has a job.
That isn't Trump.
And that damn sure isn't you who posts something so dishonest. You certainly have no leg to stand on to criticize somebody else's morality.
But at least President Trump loves America and Americans and pretty much everything he has done as President has made things better.
I can't think of a thing you have done that has made things better for anybody. Can you?
A. Moral Character Matters for Leadership
Many pastors, theologians, and Christian ethicists argue that:
- a leader’s personal character is inseparable from moral leadership,
- virtues like honesty, humility, fidelity, and kindness are central to Christian ethics.
Common criticisms include:
- frequent dishonesty,
- disrespectful or demeaning rhetoric,
- reports of sexual misconduct,
- lack of compassion toward immigrants, the poor, or political opponents.
B. Concern About “Christian Witness”
Some Christian leaders say supporting Trump harms the public credibility (“witness”) of the church by appearing to endorse behavior inconsistent with the teachings of Jesus.
C. Warnings Against Political Idolatry
Prominent Christian thinkers argue that unconditional loyalty to any political figure—Trump included—can become a form of idolatry, subordinating Christ’s teachings to partisan messaging.
