My front door lock failed within 5 months

I purchased an electronic door lock because I like trying new tech. I also hate carrying keys.

Here’s the item that failed.....

I talked with someone today at the company who said it sounded like the clutch went bad. He offered to send me a replacement part or a new door handle. I went with the new handle.

I then got an email from another person asking a few questions, and then a phone call.

Despite the difficulties we had understanding each other via phone, I just got an email from UPS saying they’ll be delivering a package.
