ASHINGTON (TNND) — Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) head Elon Musk on Monday sounded the alarm over what he described as “magic money computers” creating waste in the federal government.

The remarks made on the Verdict podcast with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, come amid DOGE’s aggressive audit of the federal government. Musk said his team has uncovered computer systems which

“You may think that the government computers all talk to each other, they’re synchronized, they add up what funds are going where and it’s coherent and that the numbers you’re presented as a senator are the real numbers,” he said.

Cruz: "One of the things you told me about is what you called, 'Magic Money Computers.' So tell us about it, 'cause I never heard of that 'til you brought it up."

Musk: "Okay, so, you may think like the government computers all talk to each other, they synchronize, they add up what funds are going somewhere. And, that they're coherent ... And that the numbers that you're presented as a Senator are actually the real numbers."

Cruz: "One would think!"

Musk: "One would think - they're not ... I mean they're not totally wrong, but they're probably off by five percent or 10 percent in some cases. So, I call it 'Magic Money Computer': any computer that can make money out of thin air. That's magic money."

Cruz: "So how does that work?" Cruz asked.

Musk: "It just issues payments."

Cruz: "And you said there's something like 11 of these computers at Treasury that are sending out trillions in payments?"

Musk replied that they're mostly at the Department of Treasury, and others are at the Department of Health and Human Services as well as the Department of Defense.

Musk: "We've found now 14 'Magic Money Computers. They just send money out of nothing."

The 10% Musk is talking about must be the graft and corruption fee. Congress doesn't include it as a line item on the budget when it approves spending, so Treasury helps them out by adding it in. ;)

Oh, and I have more groundbreaking news, the government doesn't necessarily print money when it's created either.

Money is printed by the Federal Reserve so if 5-10% is "magic money" it never gets accounted for by Treasury, thus it does not officially exist.

Things are a lot worse than we thought.

I feel bad that take Elon Musk at his word.

Also, why is he on podcasts but not under oath before Congress?
He's waiting for the list of flight takers to the pedo Island getaway with Trump's release of the Epstein list.

Maybe Musk should have asked Cancun Ted why he doesn't know about all this "fraud". Or is it because good old Teddy Boy is too busy raking in a fortune doing podcasts, instead of doing his fucking job.

The claim is a crock of shit either way, spoonfed to MAGA brainwashed idiots who will believe it.

Damn..is there anything these Trumpers won’t believe?

Musk says something without the slightest bit of evidence and MAGAs go nuts.

Musk has got to be laughing his ass off on how easy it is to manipulate the MAGA base.

I think these guys sit around and dream this BS up. And laugh their asses off in the knowledge that the knuckledraggers in the Trump Cult will be stupid enough to actually believe it.

Musk has never offered a shred of evidence to support these X posts.

And he never will.

He made it up (again) and the fools believe it.

It is beyond pathetic how easy these MAGAs are led around by the nose by Musk.

I don’t think there is a word in the English language to describe how sad this is.

This is criminal!

Let’s see where this leads!
