The remarks made on the Verdict podcast with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, come amid DOGE’s aggressive audit of the federal government. Musk said his team has uncovered computer systems which

The 10% Musk is talking about must be the graft and corruption fee. Congress doesn't include it as a line item on the budget when it approves spending, so Treasury helps them out by adding it in.

Oh, and I have more groundbreaking news, the government doesn't necessarily print money when it's created either.

Money is printed by the Federal Reserve so if 5-10% is "magic money" it never gets accounted for by Treasury, thus it does not officially exist.

Things are a lot worse than we thought.
