I say cutting the deficit by half in 10 years is a realistic initial goal.

It will take at least a year to even identify functions of all the redundant departments and another year to plan out how to consolidate, at least three years to locate property in cheaper locales in the mid-West and build out government complexes.

Cutting the deficit is easy. Eliminating it and reducing the debt is another story!

Bring it on, previous Generations of Americans have suffered through the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, the Great Depression, World War II and the turbulence of the 1960's just to name a few hardships in the struggle to make this a better country. It's time for the current generations to pitch in and do some sacrificing for the benefit of future generations instead of just selfishly feeding on the future for our own benefit.

The more the Federal Government and its services are "deconstrued and removed before our eyes" the better off the long-term prospects for the freedom and prosperity of the future citizenry becomes.

Personally, I'm rooting for President Trump and his team of "Avengers" to shrink the Executive Branch down to the size of a peach pit and we can just deal with the consequences like those before us have dealt with the hardships they've had to face.
