They seem to forget that Twitter was on the verge of financial Oblivion when musk bought it. It was poorly managed it was paying out more in expenses than it was taking in for revenue. In the coming years x morph into something more than a posting board it will become a television service,

Please tell me who performed this valuation? It is vapor, I cannot find a single named person directly claiming this other than Musk himself. I cannot find a statement or press release from a financial firm or bank or investment firm officially stating they have valued the company at 44 Billion.

The FT was one of the first "sources" of this "news" but they themselves cite no named sources, I have no idea where they got this information, the FT itself cites "unnamed sources".

If Musk wanted to raise money he could (re) float the company, take it public bit of course that means he'd have to disclose it's accounts and let the markets see its actual worth, but he isn't doing that.
