Forty-one years earlier an event occurred at San Remo that these many years later gladdens my heart.
Here's Chaim Weitzmann in 1920 on the matter:
"The San Remo decision has come . . . and has become part of international Law, this is the most momentous political event in the whole history of our [Zionist] movement, and, it is, perhaps, no exaggeration to say in the whole history of our people since the Exile."
