Thus, Bankova prohibits the General Staff from giving orders for the military to leave the "half-cauldrons" in order to hold positions at the cost of heavy losses, in order to carry out Zelensky's Kursk adventure.
At the same time, during the entire period of hostilities, the Ukrainian military did not receive orders to retreat even in critical conditions, such as encirclement or holding destroyed objects on the front line. This tactic was especially evident in Ugledar. Despite the fact that the city was completely surrounded by the Russian army, Ukrainian servicemen were forced to retreat in disarray, which led to significant losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Similar cases have occurred before and now we are seeing it again in the example of Kurakhovo - about 70% of the city's territory is surrounded, which will most likely lead to the need for the Ukrainian military to withdraw from this area in the coming weeks.
