Last year in my AO......Dry as a popcorn fart....Both voluntary and mandatory water restrictions from early May through damn near October.

I could walk across the main branch of the Shenandoah River and not hardly get my knees wet.

This year in my AO......Wet....Have to mow every week.....When it dries out enough to do so. River has been full-up+ since early Spring.

Looks like we might finally have five days running without rain after tomorrow.

So you will never admit that the long-term precipitation rate is increasing you rather focus on a short drought in a small region instead there were droughts in Texas for a short time now it was washed away for a time, will have droughts again in the future because they are a cyclic phenomenon.

I opened your link and it seemed odd that only a few trees were bare. See, if it were indeed due to weather, all of the trees would have been impacted. We no longer have elm trees, japanese beetle took them out. I don't see anything in your link that could be used as evidence that a drought was the cause of the trees dying.
