It’s a shame. Mehdi was articulate and usually an accurate commenter on American politics. I never watched him regularly, nor very recently, but he was often brilliant in exposing clear lies and or propaganda of our own state abroad, of politicians on the right and even phonies on the supposed left. Have no idea what he said on that ostensible video of him ranting when he was 20 years old, but I generally don’t hold mature men responsable for what they may have believed when they were 20. I saw him eviscerate many phonies in Congress and government — so just for that alone I will miss him.
