2: Too many people are only interested in playing hero and think that a gun fight works like in movies. They dont have the proper mindset for combat situations.

3: Cops will shoot first and ask questions later. If a cop sees someone running around with a gun when theres an active shooter, that person is going to die. The cop is ging to assume that, since the person isnt a cop, they are a criminal

Since I'm pretty sure you've never actually asked a law-enforcement officer how he feels about concealed carry, I'm going to assume that you're full of beans. Especially since you didn't back your statement up with any facts.

I've carried a concealed weapon every day for the last 11 years, and I have asked my County Sheriff how he feels about it. His response was to thank me and state that he wished more people would carry. And that his officers have a lot of ground to cover, and they can't be everywhere at the same time.

Irresponsible people don't go through criminal background checks, training, and pay fees to carry a concealed weapon. Those are the people because of whom gun laws had to be written, and those are the people who commit the majority of gun crimes in this country.

But the rabid anti-gun left doesn't differentiate between law-abiding gun owners and gun criminals. Their goal is to criminalize the weapon, not the person who misuses it.
