I have already said i don't and never have supported Eminent Domain Laws. So obviously i would like to see this situation resolved in some other way. I also stand by my point that Liberal loons like you were on this very board applauding and cheering for Ginsberg's deciding vote on that Supreme Court ruling. But that was back when da BOOOOOOOOSH was in there right? Now you same Liberal loons suddenly feel differently about Eminent Domain. I still call BULL CHIT on you guys. It was all about dat BOOOOOOOOSH for you guys. You didn't care about the Government stealing citizens' properties back then.
Well, for starters, it wouldn't make sense for partisan liberals to support eminent domain when Bush was in office. Partisan liberals would have opposed eminent domain during the Bush administration, and would now support it during the Obama administration. Not the other way around.
Secondly, you can keep calling me a liberal if you want, but that won't make it true. I'm a libertarian, not a liberal. As such, I'll consistently defend property rights.
Finally, if you don't support eminent domain then explain what you want to happen. They're going to build the mosque on this property, it doesn't matter if you want them to or not. Short of advocating that the government step in and force them to build elsewhere there's nothing to be done about it. So which is it? Will you advocate the use of government force, or will you accept that they have the right to build a mosque on their own property even if you think it's "aggressive?"
