Well I fact checked. Inflation was bad under Biden but the numbers show that inflation was significantly worse under Carter than Biden.

The cumulative inflation rate was ~48% under Carter.

It was ~8% over Trump's first term. Perfectly in line with the Fed's 2%/annum target. Poverty fell to a record low.

Under Biden it was ~21%

I think Trump does this to cause controversy over the numbers, thus highlighting them in the public chatter.

Well, the thing is, it's only a lie if the person saying it knows that it isn't true. I think it's entirely possible that he believes everything he says, the instant it exits his mouth. No matter how insane, no matter how stupid, no matter obvious that it's not true.

And then his base just buys it with zero (0) question. When it's proven to be a lie, they say he was just trolling da libz.

There is no way in to that pathological labyrinth. All we can do is hope that it somehow fades before it's too late.
