When I was 21 I did get a girl pregnant. In a hush-hush mode she was sent for an abortion by a friend of ours. I found out about it after the fact. I was largely unfazed by it.

I reflect on it to this day. I am not against abortion within limits, still, it haunts me today whereas it did not at the time.

That's life I suppose (I get the irony).
