Then you aren’t reading, I am taking hits by the right for my stance against the firing of Kimmel, Kimmel is a stupid, empty talking head but he has a right to be stupid and hateful.
Harris was outraged of Kimmel being taken of the air saying Kimmel has a right to express his views, hateful or not, but in 2019 she wanted Trump taken off Twitter for hateful views.
Schumer said taking Kimmel off the air was a threat to democracy, in 2019 the claimed Trump should be taken off of social media because he is a threat to democracy.
The rest of your post is utter nonsense and I am done rehashing your excuses for the Democrats trying to suppress free speech.
Kimmel wasn't being hateful. Charlie was hateful. Isn't that funny you and I see things so differently? Here's what Kimmel said:
“We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them, and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”
“In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving on Friday,” he said. “The White House flew the flags at half-staff, which got some criticism, but on a human level, you can see how hard the President is taking this.”
He then played a clip of President Trump responding to a question about how he was coping with Kirk’s death. Trump replied:
“I think very good, and by the way, right there you see all the trucks — they’ve just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House.”
As studio laughter faded, Kimmel joked about the president’s response:
“Yes, he’s at the fourth stage of grief: construction. This is not how an adult grieves the murder of someone he called a friend.” (This is more like how a child reacts when you tell them their goldfish died.) I believe that's what he said.
I agree! Jimmy's writers are hilarious and very observant. Same for Colbert, the Daily Show, Seth Meyers and Fallon. Trump doesn't like it? Tough shit. Only right wingers don't like these shows because they show the politicians lying and being hypocrites.
And the head of the FCC was right last year when he defended these late shows. What's changed?
Anyways, Trump has crossed over the line way more than Biden did on the 1st amendment. If this isn't enough to get you to admit Kamala was the lesser of two evils, then I don't think anything will.
