In the first three months of the year, members of the first family have been on three vacations, averaging a vacation a month. And now it's being reported that the first daughters are on a spring break vacation in the Bahamas.

So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch.

Bush was not on vacation when he was working from his ranch in Texas. The transportation back and forth was minor compared to what obama has spent going to hawaii and sending his wife and kids to Spain and France.

He doesn't go to Chicago because he knows there is not enough security to put a scratch on his safety.
