More Terms?

Trump has changed the world for the better but it takes a while to implement the changes. With all his unprecedented success, should we consider doing an FDR?
Can't do it without a constitutional amendment and that isn't likely to happen any time soon.

We can elect competent MAGA minded Republicans for the next 20 years or more though and that will probably be necessary to ferret all the Marxist deep state operations out of our governments and national institutions. That will be necessary to restore America to normal and keep it that way.

Hopefully President Trump will be around for at least awhile longer to counsel those who succeed him.

Too old. Presidents have a short shelf life. 8-years is plenty.

Yeah, he was really showing his age at the Alaska summit, it wasn't a good look.

Not sure what you mean.

The summit dis not appear (at least at or above the surface) to have produced much in the way of results. If that’s what you mean by showing his age, that’s a silly metric.

If you mean that he walked in a strange fashion on the red carpet to receive his guest, Putin, that might indicate some age-related issue. But not necessarily.

And, even if it did, it didn’t reflect any mental deficit such as that constantly shown by his demented predecessor.

Why not?

Democrats say trump is a king. Why not take them at their word?

Feb 23, 2025 — A fondness for regal themes was apparent as the president applauded his administration's move to kill congestion pricing in New York.

In the same way Americans were mocking Biden's look, and ability to serve, they are now doing to Trump.

Don't be in an echo-chamber, and you will see much more of reality.

Nope. 2 Reasons... 1) He's too old for another term after this one. 2) If you open the door for more than 2 terms, then Obama could possibly get in there again.

Just give it a rest. Of course we mocked a demented old man who shook hands with nobody there. Who could finish a thought or even say the one word he had planned on using to describe America. He was clearly gone, mentally.

So now it’s “turn about is fair play” to criticize Trump for some edema in his ankles of for (perhaps) demonstrating some physical impairment due (arguably) to age?

You are usually a better posting member than that. But recently, not so much.

And I’m not in any echo-chamber merely because I happen to be assessing commentary )such as yours), critically. I’m criticizing because it’s baseless and kind of petty.

If we followed the Dem model, we would install a potato, and then let Trump run things from behind the curtain....
