I once applied to do production admin for an electric bus company building a factory in KY. Went all through the processes and interviews. It was 2 years later they hadn't opened the factory and sold their building. The company was Canadian.

Better add some personal content to your OP. This story must be in error--- I mean, EVs, there is nothing to go wrong with them, you just charge them up and they go! Maybe these buses just need new $30,000 chinese EV batteries?

by brother helped build an ethanol plant years ago, it ran for maybe a year or two and then it shut down, nice waste of money
good chance as this was the obama time it was funded with our money

Safety manager and I were bs'ing at the end of the day, he told me the company was forced to buy 1 EV trc by Newsome cause we gotta save the planet. Only goes about 90 miles on a charge.

great for inner city if you drive 20 minutes, everybody else not so much and forget about winter in MT and ND, lithium, be lucky if you get 45 miles on a charge and if the battery is too cold........it won't take a charge........haha

musk seems smart but in order to keep a battery warm you need insulation and a power source, if your source is your battery it defeats the entire purpose
