They are destroying Dem ballots judging by the location. I think someone wants to point out the lack of security in the system. Sounds like a good sound practice to initiate a change in behavior if that is what you want to achieve.

Jaime was a never Trumper who was not well liked by the local republicans.

Joe Kent is running for the seat again this year after losing to Perez in 2022.

Kent is pro-Trump and popular with republicans, so of course he is portrayed as a Nazi and a "threat to democracy" by the dems in all the TV spots...
