Red State! Amen.
I see the p word (occasionally associated with kitty cats) is also newly banished to the auto edit realm.

I’m not clear on why the Admins found it necessary to censor off-color language.

Does it make USMB a “better” forum?

I can’t imagine it as being repressive. I mean, their Board so their rules. If I have some all consuming desire to drop an eff bomb, maybe I can use a different board.

I do see the use of an occasional profanity as “seasoning.” But if I have to contain my enthusiasm, I guess I can get over it.

Who the **** are you s**ting? :)

Asterisks are fun. Don’t get me wrong.

But, sometimes, so is *******.

And as one wit once put it, “if you can’t say it, you can’t do it.”

Duck it! Just say duck it.

Hm. Autocorrect is down with the Admin!

You realize a major auto parts distribution company is going bankrupt?

Now you guys want to use auto filters on a message board? I can't think of anything else that sounds so useless. Why do you want to create a shortage of auto filters?

I use a lot of f-bombs.
I shouldn't, but I do.
And they're now being bleeped.
I really don't have a problem with it although I think it's a bit of an overreaction. When I drop one, everybody knows what I said even though it's now starred out *******.
Really, I'm fine with it.
I'm just glad we have the freedom here to express our opinions. It's refreshing in this increasingly choked and censored world.

DeepState Filth. No asterisk.

The funny thing is, that at first, people will begin to rebel and profanitty, censored of course, will explode. Many will find new and creative ways to use the censored words as a punchline. Then just a running joke.

But the weird thing is this:

It will become adapted as normal.

Think about that. Then think about what they are doing to our kids in the Universities.
