Mommas and the Papas......minus the music

Someone electronically removed the music from one of the Mommas and Papas songs........

And guess what?

STILL SOUNDS ******* MIND BLOWINGLY AWESOME!!!!

A lot of modern music going acapella just doesn't sound right.
Or as they prefer to call it nowadays..........Unplugged.

Acapella has an appeal of it's own. Good post.

I saw a documentary on them once and it said that Cass was just a groupie in the beginning. Then, when they were on vacation in Mexico, she got hit in the head with a large rock and ended up in the hospital. She recovered but the biggest effect the rock had was on her voice, which they said became fabulous after the blow. And that's when they started featuring the sweet voice of Mama Cass.
