Aside from promoting prayer, what is the purpose of the MOS? Any student can say a prayer to himself at any time and any place and no one will know. Why does it have to be a group affair and have a special time set aside for it?
There is no motive for the MOS except a religious one.

with all kinds of objections to any kind of accomodation for christians. Since when did it make sense to pay any heed to the chronically offended?? Why don't we just have ceilings that are only 6 feet high so we don't offend short people in governemnt buidlings? Why don't we only have scales in government buildings that only go to 200 lbs so we don't offend fat people. Why don't we do away with electricity since that probably offends environmental kooks. Let's just come up with the whiniest most neurotic people in society and then let them tell us the blizzard of assinine things we are supposed to think. Yeah that makes sense!!!
