Florida is like its own little biosphere. I'm 10 miles from Pensacola up in the Panhandle and it's pretty similar to Alabama. The farther east you go, it is mostly military and is often more conservative than the rest of the state. South Florida was solid blue up until DeSantis smoked them in 2022. I go into P'cola a few times a week and they have new sign for the State line. They say "WELCOME TO THE FREE STATE OF FLORIDA"!

According to the NYPost link;

" Pedroso made the reservation on May 14 for the May 17 event for her daughter’s birthday, but failed to secure off-duty deputies for the party as agreed upon in the contract, leading to the cancellation. "

Failing to uphold her part of the contract was a valid reason for the rink to cancel.

Pedroso is the one who fugged up and failed to meet terms of contract. Yet it's the skate rink's fault.
