Florida is like its own little biosphere. I'm 10 miles from Pensacola up in the Panhandle and it's pretty similar to Alabama. The farther east you go, it is mostly military and is often more conservative than the rest of the state. South Florida was solid blue up until DeSantis smoked them in 2022. I go into P'cola a few times a week and they have new sign for the State line. They say "WELCOME TO THE FREE STATE OF FLORIDA"!

I like it in my Indian movies when the Cops beat the crap out of prisoners or rioters or suspects with those long wooden sticks. They even paddle Adults at the station. No guns, no fuss, no mess and no permanent damage.
