That is not the America I grew up in. I'm a hero to a little Jewish boy, because me and my friends kicked the bullies' asses. His sisters were my friends.

I have seen more extreme and pervasive Jew-hate in the last two years than I have in the previous 60+. And I say that as someone whose family was banned from a country club, who had JEW scratched across the brand-new family car, and more.

It’s become “cool” to hate Jews these days. The amount of antisemitism being spewed would not be tolerated if even half of it was against blacks, or Muslims. But for some reason, it’s open season on Jews.

For my part, aside from my interactions here, I have limited my social circle to Jews only. I’ve become more active with my Synogogue, taking advantage of activities they hold, and joined the local Jewish Community Center. It’s a shame, really, because I know there are many wonderful non-Jews who would be terrific friends, but there’s really no way to know how much Jew-hate, if any, is just below the surface.

All my Jewish friends were SHOCKED at the antisemitism that erupted within days of the Oct 7 massacre of Jews.
