MN state representative admits she is in the US illegally during legislative debate

I didn't say SHE was. I indicated that if they're voting on whether or not to DISCONTINUE providing benefits or as the articles states it "modifying the eligibility requirements for undocumented adult immigrants" then it must be true that there are indeed some undocumented adult immigrants who are or have been receiving government benefits.

That's all.

On the state level they cant determine on their own who is legal or not.

Well it depends on the rest of the story

She may have initially been in the US illegally with her family but one can assume that since she is a legislator that she gain citizenship later on after entering the US.

She just using shock value to rock the republicans.

She just left out the rest of the story.

I like it that was clever of her

Then why would there be a state vote on continuing or discontinuing benefits if there's no way to determine if a person is legal or not? The fact that it took place would mean that there's a way to do it but Minnesota chose not to.

Hahahahahaha.

MAGA and the lies they obviously believe.

Her is a citizen who was a Hmong refugee from Laos with her family in the 1970s. Her's father found a way to skip a step and get them to the United States faster.

Rep. Her had legal documentation, and she was naturalized in junior high school. Her's family has since been naturalized as well.

Bill Clinton would have a few word for you about "is".

We had dozens of SE Asian refugees in High School in the late 70's.

That how you play republicans. You feed them what they want to hear and stepback as they will never verify it , they just want to jump on that bandwagon.

El Rushbo's vitriolic playbook has reached the GOP Mainstream and turned them hateful as well as ignorant.

Rush was Wrong.

It's not my program. However, if the state of Minnesota would've approved to discontinue benefits for undocumented adult immigrants, then the state would have to figure out how to separate people getting it legally vs illegally or just ignore the law. Which means they would have to identify and verify a person's status. For some reason, Minnesota doesn't want to ask that question. If, as you say, the state can't figure it out, they're going to have to pass that responsibility to someone or somewhere that can. Welcome to the federal government.

in 1986, Ronnie Raygun signed an amnesty bill for people who came here before 1982. She was brought here in the 70's at the age of four.

Sounds like she was being honest. Some thing MAGANUTS simple don't expect or want from their dear leaders. They want to be lied too.
