The federal trial of three former Minneapolis cops charged with violating George Floyd’s civil rights as Derek Chauvin fatally kneeled on his neck for nearly ten minutes began Monday.
Ex-cops Thomas Lane, Tou Thao and J. Kueng are charged with failing to provide Floyd, 46, medical care in his arrest on May 25, 2020. Thao and Kueng also face an additional count for not stopping Chauvin.
Floyd died after Chauvin pressed him to the ground with his knee while Floyd was face-down, handcuffed and gasping for air.

Opinion:
Chauvin did not murder Floyd.
Floyd died from a fentanyl drug overdose and covid 19.
Floyd resisted arrest and they had to restrain him.
Therefore, there is not a civil rights case for the 3 other Minneapolis policemen.
BTW, is shooting an unarmed protester a civil rights violation?
Were the civil rights of Ashli Babbitt violated?
Babbitt's family should start a civil rights case against Pelosi's capital police.

That opinion isn't valid on how it could pertain to the trial of the others.
Floyd died from a fentanyl drug overdose and covid 19
The same answer applies.
Floyd resisted arrest and they had to restrain him.
And again, the same answer applies.
Therefore, there is not a civil rights case for the 3 other Minneapolis policemen.
There is for the same reason that there were murder convictions against Chauvin.
BTW, is shooting an unarmed protester a civil rights violation?
Were the civil rights of Ashli Babbitt violated?
Babbitt's family should start a civil rights case against Pelosi's capital police.
That's a question worth some consideration. I would suggest that it wasn't a civil rights violation, if only to provide you a contrary position on which to make your case against.

Bullshit! Chauvin plead GUILY in Federal Court to violationg Floyds rights

He was convicted on the State Charges

All of the medical evidence confirms that Floyed died because of Chauvin's actions

Chauvin's supervisors and trainers testified against him
